The Castlewood Senior Living Looks Forward to This Year’s Spring-Cleaning

Spring-cleaning is celebrated in cultures across the world. Due to the tilt of the Earth on its axis, the northern hemisphere begins to see the winter-scape come to life with daffodils blooming, grass greening, and temperatures warming during late March, into early April.  

Spring-cleaning has grown into National Spring-Cleaning Week. This annual effort has expanded beyond house and business cleaning into peoples’ finances, technology, and other areas of a person’s life. With that in mind, The Castlewood Senior Living is looking forward to completing this year’s community-wide spring-cleaning effort!

I move furniture when spring-cleaning. Baseboards are wiped down and all things are dusted, including ceiling fans and hard-to-reach places. Spring-cleaning resets your standards, putting your net neglect to zero, giving you a new start. Plus, it helps if you have allergies or have been feeling confined. Seasonal depression is real, and cleaning can reinvigorate you.

I like to have a clean reset on all things in spring. I clean my desktop by deleting old files, emptying my downloads folder, updating my drivers, and checking for other computer updates. If my finances have been neglected due to my busy schedule, I review my personal budget and make sure I stick to it.
